“Between Dream and Daylight”

I saw you again

by the window,

sunlight resting on your face

like time had never learned to move.

I stood a little away,

camera in hand,

trying to keep the moment

without touching the silence.

It felt real

the kind of real that lingers

even after the dream fades.

And when morning came,

you found your way

into my world again

not in a call,

but in a picture someone else shared.

Two years,

and still my heart remembers

how light looked when it touched you.

Maybe love doesn’t always end;

sometimes it just changes

into presence

quiet, distant

but still somewhere near the window.
